Introduction
Automated droplet measurement (ADM) is developed during my PhD
study on droplet-based microfluidic generation. This software addresses the
bottlenecks that hamper the currently available software to perform rapid
droplet measurements. The video processing software is based on OpenCV, which has
much higher processing speed than MATLAB based software. The software also comes with background finding and threshold finding algorithms. This eliminates the
need to perform those processes manually.

Features
- Speed:
More than 15 times faster than the MATLAB based DMV* program.
Processes about 3000 frames in 10 seconds (520x64 pixels, Lagarith lossless video codec) - Batch processing:
Automated processing from a list of avi video files. - Droplet parameters:
24 parameters including advancing/receding angle and droplet deformation - Advanced option:
User defined image processing parameters - Contour history view:
Review tracked objects and spotting unusual tracking phenomena.
